MC² produces shows every week and every month of every year. We can do this because we truly are a collective - a place where people of all backgrounds pitch in to make new shows. Some write, some act, some organize, and some do a little bit of everything.
The one thing none of us does, however, is earn a lot of money. Which is why we need your help.
We are thrilled to work as hard as we do, but we need your support for an even more successful third consecutive year. Your donation will go far to help us continue entertaining audiences and providing an outlet for awesome talent with amazing projects like:
- Seasonal Sketch Comedy Shows including Tenderly Devoted Heartsongs for the Lovelorn Journeyman, Summer Funtime Special and Zombira's Scaretaculous Halloween Horrortacular.
- Character based improv formats including Character Dogville, Start Trekkin', Character Dogville Gameshow, Puppet Habitrail and Stacy & Friends.
- Spin-off Variety Shows including Vote McOwskey!, The Sealegs McGoo Show and Jameson Bartleby's Haunted Hayride.
- The monthly Reading Lab where we workshop original plays by up-and-coming writers, and exercise our acting muscles with pieces by established playwrights - including an all female staged reading of Glengarry Glen Ross.
- And since our inception two years ago, Manhattan Comedy Collective has moved spaces 3 times, performed approximately 116 character improv shows, 27 Big Bang shows, helped produce a Fringe Festival piece, and we now have an awesome space in Times Square!
