Rob Bates’ (Plugbot) comedy writings have appeared on Fuse TV, comedycentral.com, McSweeneys, Jest magazine, American Comedy Network, All Star Radio and New York Newsday. He has even sold three jokes to Yakov Smirnoff (strange but true). His MC² shows include “Rick Murphy is an Asshole,” “Zombira’s Scaretaculous Halloween Horrortacular,” “Summer Funtime Special,” and the tangentially-sort-of-related “Saturday Night Rewritten.” His non-comedy writings have appeared in “Time Out New York,” “Shecky’s Bar Club and Nightclub Guide” and Fox News Market Wire. His work has been rejected by many leading magazines and newspapers, but sometimes with nice letters attached. He loves working with the MC² crew.  He is also a journalist and cultural icon.

Outside of the Elementary classroom, Mr. Luke Meginsky, aka Ruggles Outbound, can be seen battle-rapping, toe-tapping, and gun-clapping his way to the top of hip hop superstardom. Known for his nonsensical intergalactic space rimes, crude religious references, and overt sexual inuendos, Ruggles will probably never get signed. At least, not in the god-loving USA. Fortunately, before he sells his act to the Brits and moves to Liverpool, Mr. Meginsky (his maiden name) will be performing with improv group The Claps, and working on sketch and improv with the innovative minds of MC².  Mr. Meginsky has trained at Annoyance Theater, Second City, and the UCB theater, and is a former member of Umass Improv Troupes Mission Improvable and Toast (99'-02').
